As he further studied the science of CBN cannabinoids and different types of weeds, he found their potential to bring relief to the terminally ill. He watched Canada’s criminalization of cannabis disproportionately harm those suffering from HIV and cancer. He became a leading voice in the fight for reform. His relentless activism helped Canada make history in 2017 by legalizing cannabis.
